Sushant Singh Rajput Case: “If anyone has proof we will interrogate and punish the guilty,” says Maharashtra CM Uddhav Thackeray

A lot has been happening ever since the untimely demise of Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput. He died by suicide on June 14 in Mumbai. The Mumbai Police has been investigating the matter ever since. However, after the Bihar police started investigating the matter, some took to social media to question the efficiency of the Mumbai Police. On Friday, Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray spoke up about the same.

Sushant Singh Rajput Case: “If anyone has proof we will interrogate and punish the guilty,” says Maharashtra CM Uddhav Thackeray

In his statement, Thackeray said that he would like to condemn those who are raising questions over the efficiency of the Mumbai Police. He said that the department is not efficient. The Chief Minister also requested to not use the case to create friction between the two states. “If anyone has any proof about the case they can bring it to us and we will interrogate and punish the guilty. However, please don't use this case as an excuse to create friction between the two states of Maharashtra and Bihar. Anyone who is bringing politics in the case is really the most deplorable thing to do,” he said.

Uddhav Thackeray also lashed out at former Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis for questioning the credibility of the Mumbai Police. “The opposition can even bring Interpol or followers of Namaste Trump into the inquiry. Devendra Fadnavis should understand that it is the same police whom he has worked with in the last five years. It is the same police that have given so many sacrifices during the fight with Corona,” he added.

The Chief Minister’s statement came after the opposition Minister Devendra Fadnavis urged that the Enforcement Directorate investigate the case.

A few days back, late actor Sushant Singh Rajput's father KK Singh filed an FIR against Rhea Chakraborty for abetment of suicide. After Rhea filed a petition, KK Singh filed a caveat in the apex court so that no order is passed in favour of the other party before giving them a notice.

Meanwhile, in her plea Rhea said that Rajput's father has used his influence to lodge an FIR accusing her of abetment of suicide of his son. She also said that she was in a live-in relationship with Sushant and has been in trauma because of his death. “The deceased (Rajput) was suffering from depression for some time and was also on anti-depressants and he committed suicide on the morning of June 14, 2020 at his Bandra residence by hanging himself,” she added in her plea.

Money Heist to end with season 5 on Netflix, two new actors join the final part

Netflix megahit series Money Heist will come to close with season 5. The fifth and final season announcement was made on July 31. The cast and crew will begin production on August 3 in Denmark before moving to Spain and Portugal.

Two new cast members have been added to the final season of the Spanish juggernaut - Miguel Ángel Silvestre from Sense8, and Patrick Criad. "We always try that our opponents be charismatic, intelligent, shiny," creator Álex Pina told Entertainment Weekly. "In this case, in a pure war film genre, we also look for characters whose intelligence can measure up against The Professor’s."

Speaking about the final season, Pina added, "We are moving from a chess game – a mere intellectual strategy – to a war strategy: attack and contention. This new goal raises the stakes while keeping the story fresh and maintaining the adrenaline that has always run through Money Heist. The war they've been pushed to start results in "the most epic part of all the parts we've shot."

The final 10 episodes will also tell the story of Denver's childhood friend Manila played by Belén Cuesta. Teasing the face-off between Alicia Sierra and The Professor, Pina said, "Adrenaline is within Money Heist’s DNA. Every thirty seconds things take place and disrupt the characters, a turn of the screw to the action. The adrenaline mixed with feelings arising from absolutely complex, magnetic, unforeseeable characters will continue until the end of the heist to the Bank of Spain. However, the gang will now be pushed into irreversible situations, into a wild war: it is the most epic part of all the parts we’ve shot."

Created by Álex Pina, Money Heist aka Le Casa De Papel stars Álvaro Morte as The Professor, Itziar Ituño as Raquel, Úrsula Corberó as Tokyo, Miguel Herrán as Rio, Jaime Lorente Lopez as Denver, Alba Flores as Nairobi, Darko Peric as Helsinki, Esther Acebo as Monica, Hovik Keuchkerian, Rodrigo de la Serna, and Pedro Alonso as Berlin.
