Public prosecutor reveals reason behind Raj Kundra got arrested; claims 51 pornographic films were confiscated from Hotshots and Bolly Fame apps

Businessman Raj Kundra got arrested by Mumbai police due to his involvement in a porn racket. His lawyers however claimed his films to be erotica rather than porn and thus termed his arrest as illegal. Public prosecutor Aruna Pai revealed that the British businessman started wiping out WhatsApp groups and chats and therefore claimed these actions as destroying the evidence before the Bombay High Court. Meanwhile, his IT expert and companion Ryan Thorpe also got arrested for erasing the evidence.

Public prosecutor Aruna Pai also informed that the Mumbai crime branch confiscated 51 pornographic films allegedly from Hotshots and Bolly Fame apps. She also revealed that an email exchange between Raj Kundra and his London-based brother-in-law Pardeep Bakshi was also found on his Hotshot app.

On the other hand, Gehana Vaisith who was given bail in Raj Kundra's pornography case claimed that Mumbai police asked for a bribe of Rs 15 lakh to refrain from arresting her in this case. Apart from this, the police officials are also scrutinizing the involvement of Yash Thakur cum Arvind Shrivastava as it is alleged that he also played a crucial part in the production of adult films. But Yash Thakur has denied his link with Raj Kundra or knowing him personally.

After Hungama 2, Meezaan Jaffrey to lead Priyadarshan's next thriller

Hungama 2 released and it turned out to be a damp squib. In fact, the audience completely dismissed the comedy. But nevertheless, it has not affected the lead star Meezaan Jaffrey. Instead, he has signed another film with Priyadarshan.

After Hungama 2, Meezaan Jaffrey to lead Priyadarshan's next thriller

A source informed Bollywood Hungama, "Meezaan has been signed on as one of the leads in Priyan's next movie which is a taut thriller. Unlike Hungama 2, this won't have comedy but an underlying suspense. There were recent reports that he is beginning the film in August and this is the project that was being talked about. Meezaan had signed the film, while he was wrapping up Hungama 2."

Apart from Meezaan, the film will star another male star as well. "The complete casting is not yet locked. It's a cop thriller and a murder mystery. And many might think this is the same film that Akshay Kumar is doing with Priyadarshan but that's not true. His film with Akki will roll after he wraps this film and it's anyway a quick film."

Here's how Jacob Smith who played Raj in Kriti Sanon-starrer Mimi was cast in the film

Jacob's parents were a little apprehensive about letting him enter the showbiz industry. But the makers of Mimi took utmost care of little Jacob and his traveling timetable. He is Scottish but had to play an American origin boy born and brought up in Rajasthan so his dialect couldn't be used and that is why his lines were dubbed to fit the north-east Hindi dialect.

Mimi was initially going to release on 31st July but was preponed to 26th July as the movie leaked online. Actress Kriti Sanon celebrated her 31st birthday along with the release of her comedy-drama Mimi. The movie is directed by Laxman Utekar produced by Dinesh Vijan and Jio Studios. It stars Kriti Sanon, Pankaj Tripathi, Sai Tamhankar, Manoj Pahwa, Supriya Pathak, Evelyn Edwards and Aidan Whytock and Jacob Smith in pivotal roles.
