Sushant Singh Rajput Death Case: Rhea Chakraborty is not absconding says Bihar cop

Actor Sushant Singh Rajput passed away more than a month ago. He died by suicide on June 14 and was found hanging in his Bandra apartment. The untimely demise of the actor shook the entire nation. As Mumbai Police is currently investigating his death, Sushant’s father KK Singh filed an FIR against Sushant’s rumoured girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty and her family for abetment to suicide.

On Wednesday, it was widely being reported that Rhea had gone into hiding. But, that's not the case it seems. Vinay Tiwari, Central Patna SP, dismissed these reports. Speaking to a daily, it is not like that, and at this point, they are not trying to track Miss Chakraborty. The preliminary investigation is underway and they'll decide the course of action once the basic facts have been investigated. If and when she is required, they will get in touch with Rhea.

As per reports, Bihar Police is following a separate investigation from Mumbai Police.

Sanjay Kumar Singh, inspector general, central range, revealed that an FIR was lodged at the Rajiv Nagar police station in Patna against Rhea and her family including Indrajit Chakraborty, Sandhya Chakraborty, Shruti Modi, Showik Chakraborty, and others. It was filed under Sections 341, 342, 380, 406,420, 306, and 120 (B) of the Indian Penal Code.

Sushant's father made a serious charge against Rhea and her family that she kept him away from his family, was handling his bank account, crores of rupees were withdrawn in a year by her from his bank account and allegedly gave him an overdose of medicines. In the FIR, KK Singh has claimed that when the bank balance was going down, she allegedly left with his laptop, jewellery, cash, credit card, pin number, doctor’s receipts, etc. Apparently, the report stated that Sushant had spoken to his sister and said that Rhea had threatened to reveal the doctor’s documents to the media and prove him mad.

A four-team member of police left from Patna on July 28 to question Rhea Chakraborty and her family.

Sonu Sood to organise free medical camps across India on the occasion of his birthday on July 30

Actor Sonu Sood has turned out to be a saviour for thousands of people in the country during these tough times. The actor who started with the simple act of distributing food to the needy went on to achieve the bigger mission of helping migrant workers reach their home and continues to help people. The actor will turn a year older on Thursday and to celebrate the occasion, he has planned to organise medical camps across the nation. 

While talking to a news portal, Sonu Sood said that he is expecting nearly 50,000 people to participate in this initiative. Reportedly, the actor has been coordinating with the gram panchayats and mukhiyas to organise the camp. He has also been in touch with doctors from Jharkhand, Punjab, Orissa and Uttar Pradesh to be a part of the camp. People can get their medical check ups done for free of cost at these camps. 

Meanwhile, Sonu Sood continues to reach out to people in need through social media and other platforms.

Sushant Singh Rajput death case: His father’s lawyer says Mumbai Police wanted to involve big production houses

Sushant Singh Rajput’s death case has taken a new turn as his father filed an FIR in Patna. The actor’s father, KK Singh has alleged that Rhea Chakraborty and her family members were the reason that Sushant distanced himself from his family. The allegations also include that Rhea took all of his money and jewelry from his house on June 8 before leaving. The police in Patna have appointed four officers to travel to Mumbai who will be looking into the matter.

According to a statement given by Sushant’s family’s lawyer, Vikas Singh, he said that the Mumbai Police was not ready to register an FIR and asked them to involve big production houses and give their names. Since the matter was going in a different direction, they had to file it in Patna. While the police in Patna was hesitant, after CM Nitish Kumar and Minister Sanjay Jha spoke to them, they did it.

So far, Sushant’s family has not asked for a CBI inquiry.

Rhea Chakraborty files petition in Supreme Court for the Sushant Singh Rajput death case investigation to be transferred to Mumbai

Yesterday, Sushant Singh Rajput’s father filed an FIR in Patna against Rhea Chakraborty that alleged her of abetment of suicide of Sushant Singh Rajput along with her family members. A team of four officers have already left for Mumbai after the FIR was filed to look into the investigation. Sushant’s father has even accused Rhea and her family of distancing him from his family and that Rhea threatened to leak his medical records.

Rhea’s lawyer was to file for an anticipatory bail today in the High Court or the Sessions Court. However, the lawyer Satish Manishinde has confirmed that the actress has filed a petition in Supreme Court for Sushant’s death case investigation to be transferred to Mumbai from Patna, Bihar, the actor’s home town. According to Sushant’s family’s lawyer, Vikas Singh, they were not satisfied by the way that Mumbai Police carried the investigation and hence they filed for an FIR in Mumbai.

Along with Rhea, 5 other members of her family have been accused of these charges, too.

Rhea Chakraborty goes into hiding

Sushant Singh Rajput’s former girlfriend has done the worst thing she could have done, given the circumstances. She has apparently gone into hiding, thereby putting even more credence to the accusations made by Sushant’s father in the FIR that he has lodged in Patna.

A friend of Rhea and Sushant’s who doesn’t want to be named says, “I’ve been trying to call Rhea. She seems to be missing. Which is a pity, really. She should have come forward to come clean, provided her heart was clean. Now she is acting more suspicious than ever.”

Sources say Mahesh Bhatt would also be brought in for questioning again, this time in Patna where Sushant’s father wants his son’s case to be examined.

As for Rhea, she seems to have little or no support within the film fraternity and would find it very difficult to resume her career once her troubles are over.

Bihar Police to visit Sushant Singh Rajput’s home in Mumbai and go through his bank account details

Sushant Singh Rajput’s death case has taken a massive turn after his father filed an FIR against Rhea Chakraborty with multiple allegations. The Mumbai Police had been questioning everyone in his contact for the past month and a half and were yet to reach a conclusion. However, it is not unknown to us that Rhea Chakraborty’s questioning went on for over 9 hours. Now that the FIR has been filed, Rhea’s lawyer will be filing for anticipatory bail on her behalf today.

It has been reported that officials from Bihar Police will travel to Mumbai to meet up with the officers and the DCP of Crime Branch. They will go through all the pieces of evidence collected so far and are planning to come up with a course of action. Bihar Police will also be getting a hold on Sushant Singh Rajput’s bank account details considering one of the allegations put by his father on Rhea Chakraborty.

Sushant Singh Rajput’s sister Shweta Singh Kirti and Ankita Lokhande have posted on their Instagram saying that truth wins.
