Rajesh Kumar aka Rosesh of Sarabhai VS Sarabhai expresses displeasure of the show’s unofficial Pakistani remake

Rajesh Kumar, who played the role of Rosesh on the cult show Sarabhai VS Sarabhai recently opened up about its unofficial Pakistani remake. The producer Aatish Kapadia took to his social media a few days ago to call out the Pakistani show, Chana Jor Garam’s content which happens to be a frame-to-frame copy of their show. While Aatish Kapadia was clearly miffed at them for copying the content, actor Rajesh Kumar is also unhappy with the way that things have turned out.

Rajesh spoke about it and said that they have failed to show the essence of it and have made a mockery out of their content. The show is a frame-to-frame copy of their show and it is a poor attempt according to him. They received the videos of the show on WhatsApp and were shocked needless to say. Rajesh pointed out that they have not understood the content and their humour is substandard.

Rajesh signed off calling it a disaster.

Sonu Sood to be honoured with Humanitarian of 2020 award at Bollywood Festival Norway

The prestigious Scandinavian festival Bollywood Festival Norway has decided to honour Sonu Sood with the 'Humanitarian of the year 2020' award. The award and diploma will be presented virtually to Sonu on December 30th by Mayor of Lørenskog, Oslo, Norway Ms Ragnhild Bergheim.

Festival Director of Bollywood Festival Norway Nasrullah Qureshi while exclusively speaking to Bollywood Hungama had this to say, "Sonu Sood has been working selflessly for the cause of the whole humanity and that too at an extremely tough time. Our entire team unanimously decided to honour him for his brilliant and inspiring work. It seems like a homecoming for Sonu since his film Dabangg had its world premiere at Bollywood Festival Norway where Salman Khan was present and now Sonu is the chosen one for this year's most special award."

“Rhea Chakraborty was arrested in a bogus case,” says lawyer demanding CBI findings in Sushant Singh Rajput case

It has been months since the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) took over the case of Sushant Singh Rajput's death. The actor was found hanging in his apartment in Mumbai on June 14. Recently, Maharashtra Home Minister Anil Deshmukh demanded that CBI reveal the findings of its probe. Now, actor Rhea Chakraborty's lawyer has backed the Home Minister’s statement.

“I welcome the Statement of Shri Anil Deshmukh, HM Govt of Maharashtra calling for the CBI to make the report public in the case of Death of Sushant Singh Rajput,” Rhea’s lawyer Satish Maneshinde said in his statement.

“A hue and cry was made when the Mumbai Police took about 2 months into the investigations and the report remained to be made public. An FIR was filed in Patna making false allegations against Rhea Chakraborty and her family in July 2020. The Mumbai Police, ED, NCB and CBI including Patna Police have conducted investigations against Rhea,” he further said.

“She was arrested in a bogus case with no evidence by NCB. She was harassed by Various agencies and remained in custody for almost a month till the Bombay High Court released her on Bail. Rhea filed an FIR accusing the sisters of SSR administering him illegally obtained Medicines without proper medical advice and on the basis of a bogus prescription. She alleged that the cocktail of drugs and illegally administered medicines could be the cause of his death,” the lawyer added.

Maneshinde stressed that he has always said that the truth will remain the same whoever investigates the case. “It is high time that there is a Closure to this Sad Event. Satya Meva Jayate,” he said.

Rashmika Mandanna signs her second Bollywood film, to star alongside Amitabh Bachchan in Vikas Bahl’s next

Popular South star Rashmika Mandanna is entering Bollywood next year. The actress will make her Hindi film debut with Mission Majnu starring opposite Sidharth Malhotra. The announcement of the film was made on December 23. Following her debut, the actress has signed her second Bollywood film. She will be starring alongside megastar Amitabh Bachchan in an upcoming Vikas Bahl directorial, tentatively titled Deadly.

According to the reports, the project will go on floors in March 2021. It will be a start-to-finish schedule for the team. The film is being produced by Ekta Kapoor and Reliance Entertainment. As per earlier reports, the movie will revolve around the protagonist’s journey of self-discovery with undertones of humour. It will reportedly be a father-daughter story. Amongst the cast members, Neena Gupta is reported to join the team as well.

Rashmika Mandanna has headlined several successful films in the South including Kirik Party, Anjani Putra, and Geetha Govindam among others.

Sonam Kapoor Ahuja starrer Blind goes on floors in Scotland

The shooting of Sonam Kapoor Ahuja starrer Blind has commenced in Glasgow in Scotland. The action-thriller directed by Shome Makhija narrates the story of a blind police officer in search of a serial killer. The film promises to be an edge-of-the-seat crime thriller.

The film also features actors Vinay Pathak, Purab Kohli and Lilette Dubey. The film will be wrapped up in a single schedule and will be released in 2021.

Blind will mark the directorial debut of Shome Makhija who has previously worked as an assistant on films like Badla, Kahaani 2, Three and I, Me Aur Main. Blind is being produced by Sujoy Ghosh, Avishke Ghosh, Manish W, Pinkesh Nahar, Sachin Nahar and Hyunwoo Thomas Kim.

Sonam Kapoor was last seen in the film The Zoya Factor that was released in 2019. The movie did not fare well at the box office, but Sonam and Dulquer’s chemistry was quite talked about.

Bigg Boss 14 ex-contestant Pavitra Punia rushes to Delhi after hearing the news of her father’s fall

Pavitra Punia, who was recently evicted from the Bigg Boss 14 house, had resumed shooting for her part on the show Balveer. While the actress had given a tough fight on the show considering the kind of allegations that were put on her, her elimination was not accepted by her fans easily. With the actress living in Mumbai due to work and her family residing in Delhi, Pavitra recently had to rush to Delhi when the news of her father falling was given to her.

The actress’ representative spoke in detail about it and said that it was true that he had fallen and more clarity on his condition will be given once she reaches there. The senior has been admitted to the hospital and they are treating him currently. While the intensity of the injury has not been revealed, the representative has asked people to pray and hope that it is not something serious.

Parineeti Chopra to reunite with The Girl On The Train remake director Ribhu Dasgupta; will play undercover agent in an action thriller

Actress Parineeti Chopra is reuniting with The Girl On The Train remake director Ribhu Dasgupta for an upcoming action thriller. She is set to play an undercover agent in this story of a covert rescue operation of Indian agents. The film also stars Rajit Kapur, Kay Kay Menon, Dibyendu Bhattacharya, and Hardy Sandhu, among others.

As per reports, the yet-untitled film won’t have an India-Pakistan backdrop. Parineeti Chopra plays an undercover agent in this story and she will be leading the operation. The film is also about revenge and her personal journey. The plan is to take the project on the floor in March 2021. The makers are currently working on getting permission for shooting locations under the COVID-19 guidelines.

The untitled action thriller will be produced by Reliance Entertainment. The project is yet to be announced officially.

Meanwhile, Parineeti Chopra filmed the remake of The Girl On The Train Hindi in London last year. She steps into the shoes of Emily Blunt. The film also stars Aditi Rao Hydari, Kirti Kulhari, and Avinash Tiwary.
