Neha Marda confirms being approached for Bigg Boss 15

After two consecutive super hit seasons, the popular reality show, Bigg Boss is gearing up for its 15th season. The makers of the show have already started preparing for the upcoming season and have started approaching celebrities for the same. This time, Bigg Boss will introduce the concept of commoners as contestants again.

 

The speculations around the contestants of the 15th season have already created a buzz on the internet. One such celebrity whose name is clocking around the web is actress Neha Marda. Now, Neha Marda has herself confirmed being approached for the show.

 

Recently, in an interview with a news portal, Neha said that she has been approached for Bigg Boss 15 and she’s now thinking of accepting the offer and ‘winning the show'.

 

Neha shot to fame when she essayed the role of Gehna in Colors TV's Balika Vadhu, she later also appeared in Doli Armaanon ki and is currently doing Zee TV’s show Kyun Rishton Mein Katti Batti.

 

While talking to the news portal, Gehna also said that she has been offered the show multiple times before but she refused to do it every time. She cited not being able to live away from family and cutting off from the world as the reasons for not doing the show. But, now she has said that lockdown and shooting in bio-bubble format have prepared her for the show. She believes that now if she goes in the show, she'd be a strong contender and could also win the show.

After ‘Genda Phool’, Jacqueline Fernandez and Badshah to reunite on upcoming track 'Paani Paani'

Jacqueline Fernandez and Badshah came together for the chart-buster ‘Genda Phool’ which was on loop in 2020. The music video gained a lot of attention and has more than 550 million views on Youtube.

After the colossal success of ‘Genda Phool’, Jacqueline and Badshah reunite for a new song, 'Paani Paani' The track has been written, composed, and sung by Badshah, featuring Aastha Gill of ‘DJ Waley Babu’ fame. The video was shot in February 2021, between the scenic beauty of sand dunes in Rajasthan.

Recently, Jacqueline took to Instagram and shared the poster of the track 'Paani Paani'.

Badshah dropped a comment and lauded Jacqueline’s comeback after a while and wrote, “The queen is back” using the queen emoticon. Her fans dropped several warm wishes and wrote they were waiting for the song.

On the other hand, Jacqueline Fernandez is all prepped for her movie Bachchan Pandey alongside Akshay Kumar and Cirkus starring alongside Ranveer Singh. She will also be seen in Bhoot Police with Saif Ali Khan, Arjun Kapoor and Yami Gautam.

Sushant Singh Rajput’s flatmate Siddharth Pithani arrested by NCB in drug case

The Narcotics Control Bureau has arrested late Sushant Singh Rajput's flatmate Siddharth Pithani in a drugs probe. The NCB arrested him from Hyderabad. The drug probe had started weeks after the demise of the actor.

Reportedly, Pithani will shortly be produced in court. Pithani has been questioned by the NCB and other investigating agencies several times since the demise of Sushant on June 14, 2020. Now, he has been arrested two weeks before the first death anniversary of the actor.

The NCB started the drug probe last year after the Enforcement Directorate allegedly found WhatsApp chats involving Sushant and his close ones talking about substance use. Through their investigation, several Bollywood celebrities were also interrogated including Sara Ali Khan, Shraddha Kapoor, and Deepika Padukone.

Rhea Chakraborty and her brother Showik Chakraborty were also arrested by the NCB and spent months in judicial custody. While Rhea was in custody for a month, her brother got bail after nearly three months in custody.

Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah fame Ghanshyam Nayak aka Natu Kaka reacts to reports stating his financial stress

Due to the pandemic and the subsequent lockdown many senior and old aged artist couldn't get back to the sets of their respective shows owing to the safety protocols. As a result, many actors were left jobless and their source of income got suspended. Among those, there were also rumours about Taarak Mehta ka Ooltah Chashmah fame Ghanshyam Nayak being unemployed and facing financial problems as he is currently not shooting for the show.

Now, while speaking to a tabloid, Ghanshyam has confirmed that he is not suffering any such problems and denied all the rumours about the same.  Holding all the rumours false, he has not taken a break from the show and it is due to the circumstances that senior actors are not shooting outside Maharashtra. He said that they are following safety protocols and it is in their own interest that the makers have taken this decision. He confirmed that he is not unemployed and the team is looking after him. Ghanshyam will also resume shooting as soon as it moves back to Mumbai.

He also denied the rumours about him having financial trouble. He cleared out that he is not suffering from any financial crisis and enjoying his time at home with his children and grandchildren. He also said that he is actually coming forward in helping people who need any kind of help. He ended the note saying that he is neither unemployed nor suffering from any financial woes.

Sushant Singh Rajput's sister Shweta Singh Kirti to go on a solitary retreat

Late actor Sushant Singh Rajput's death anniversary is around the corner. A year ago on June 14, the talented actor left the nation in dense tears. Recently, Sushant's sister Shweta Singh Kirti in an Instagram post declares how she wants to spend his first death anniversary. Shweta in her post opened up that she wants to be in the mountains away from hustle and bustle and in complete silence.

Sharing the post, Shweta wrote "I am going on a solitary retreat for the whole month of June in the mountains. I won’t have access to internet or cell services there. Bhai’s one year of passing on will be spent in cherishing his sweet memories in silence. Though his physical body has left us almost a year back, the values he stood for still live on...❤️???? Wishing all an auspicious Buddha Purnima???????? #ForeverSushant."

Earlier this year on Sushant's 35th birth anniversary, Shweta Singh Kirti also announced Sushant Singh Rajput Memorial Fund. The fund was set up for physics and astrophysics student at the University Of California, Berkeley as Sushant was an enthusiast of science, astronomy and astrophysics.

Amitabh Bachchan buys a duplex apartment worth Rs. 31 crore in Mumbai

Bollywood actor Amitabh Bachchan recently bought a 5,184 sq ft property in Mumbai. He bought the property in December 2020 but registered it only in April 2021.

The property purchased by Bachchan is worth Rs. 31 crore. Reportedly, it is in a project Atlantis by a Tier-2 builder, Crystal Group. The per sq foot cost of the property comes around Rs. 60,000. He paid a stamp duty of Rs. 62 lakh taking advantage of the Maharashtra Government’s stamp duty waiver of 2 percent until March 31, 2021. As per reports, the property comes with six car parks and is located on the 27th and 28th floor.

Actor Sunny Leone has also purchased an apartment in the same project which is worth Rs. 16 crore. Filmmaker Aanand L Rai also purchased a duplex apartment in the same project for Rs. 25.3 crore.

In August last year, the Maharashtra Government temporarily reduced the stamp duty on housing units from 5 percent to 2 percent until December 31, 2020, to boost the real estate business which was hit hard by the pandemic. The stamp duty from January 1, 2021, until March 31, 2021, was 3 percent. Several celebrities took advantage of the waiver to invest in luxury properties in the city. Arjun Kapoor and Sonakshi Sinha, too, recently purchased sky villas in Bandra worth over Rs. 20 crore each.

The Kapil Sharma Show to make a grand comeback with all-new season and fresh talent

The Kapil Sharma Show, which went off-air in February this year, is all set to make a grand comeback in July. The show went off-air due to the host Kapil Sharma's personal reasons after he was blessed with a second child.

As the all show is all set to make a comeback and give laughter therapy to the audience, the show will have additions to its creative team. From actors to writers, the show will have many new faces on board. Back in March, Kapil Sharma himself posted an Instagram post declaring an open opportunity for all the actors and writers to be a part of The Kapil Sharma Show.

Also, a report of a web daily says that The Kapil Sharma Show will also have a new format which would be slightly different from its last episodes. The shoot of the show is expected to go on floors from the first week of July.

The Kapil Sharma Show is a comedy talk show, where every week special guests come from the entertainment industry either to promote their films or for a special segment. The star cast of the show includes famous comedians such as Bharti Singh, Sumona Chakravarti, Krushna Abhishek, Kiku Sharda and Chandan Prabhakar. While Archana Puran Singh is the permanent guest in the show. The show premieres on Sony Entertainment Television.
